Long term goals, such as planning for retirement, can sometimes allow us to be cavalier.   It can bring out procrastination, the “out of sight-out of mind, I’ll worry about it later” mentality.

However, the younger you are the better it is to plan, start saving and strategizing for retirement.  In the words of Dwight D. Eisenhower: “Plans are worthless, but planning is everything.”

If you have a plan and are already investing towards your retirement, can you do more?  Are you doing the right things to get you to the life of your dreams?

“Deferring your dreams, after you have wrung all the joy out of parts of your life because you are afraid to move forward, is surrendering to your fears. Retirement is an opportunity to unapologetically try new things, reinvent yourself, expand your horizons, help others or even just bask in the glow of what you have accomplished.”— Forbes

The first step is discovering how you are going to make your goal come true.  Take 5 mins and discover your first step.
